Megan Fox- Jonah Hex

It is tough to say anything nice about Megan Fox (other than commenting on her looks). She is a horrible actress and from the sounds of it she may be a worse person.

However there is no doubt that I will see Jonah Hex specifically to see Megan Fox in tight clothing. That’s the problem with her, no one is showing up to see her act.

Then again this is not a list for best actresses in a Science Fiction movie so she most definitely qualifies.

Now all we need is for her career to go south so that she will drop her no nudity clause.

Gwyneth Paltrow- Iron Man 2

She’s super cute and a solid actress. She plays the level headed assistant to the out of control Tony Stark in Iron Man 2.

Gwyneth Paltrow has carved out a great career based on ability rather than relying on her looks (maybe Megan Fox can learn a thing or two from Paltrow). Never mind, Megan is completely incapable of learning.

I’m looking forward to seeing the upcoming Avenger movies and part of the reason has to do with Gwyneth Paltrow.

Mila Kunis- The Book Of Eli

I admit that I have a huge crush on Mila Kunis, so maybe I’m a little biased. The Book Of Eli turned out to be a different movie than most people thought it would be, but no matter how you felt about the premise, you had to be happy to see Kunis in all her glory.

It turns out that the movie completely rocked (in my opinion) and Mila Kunis continued to show that she belong in Hollywood for her acting ability.

Megan Fox Out Of Transformers 3

Michael Bay finally did something right. I know it may seem shocking to hear that a consistently idiotic person would use common sense.

But Mr. Bay fired Megan Fox.

She is the female Sylvester Stalone. The worst actor of her gender. Her body of work is only tollerable because of her, well,body. She has been enabled to be bad. If someone offered you a ton of money to do something you weren’t good at and had no expectations for you, wouldn’t you take it? You would and then you’d have no incentive to become good at it.

The problem is that now someone else will probably give her another job right away. That’s the way film works. Some producer will realize that her looks and recognizability can get butts in theater seats. They don’t always care that the quality of the movie goes down with her inclusion.

For now though we can revel in the fact that Transformers 3 will be better for Megan Fox not being in it.

Batman 3 villains. Hard to follow up Joker.

I keep hearing all these rumors about Batman 3 villains and it just depresses the crap out of me. Dane Cook as the Riddler is just one of the many rumors I’ve heard. There is also Megan Fox as Catwoman (would look nice, but she’d do crappy). Whoever ends up in the next installment of Batman will have a hard job living up to expectations.

The fact is that Batman Begins was an origin story. It didn’t rely on a really bad-ass bad guy. That being said the Scarecrow was good and dark. The Dark Knight had the amazing performance of Heath Ledger as Joker and his darkness and craziness surpassed anything I’ve ever seen.

Who else is going to come off as that insane? Can Dane Cook learn how to act between now and when shooting begins? I know Megan Fox is crazy in real life, but that doesn’t mean she can pull off that type of character on screen.

I’m sure when all is said and done we will end up being happy with the direction that Christopher Nolan takes the franchise in. He has proven to be quite competent with the Batman legacy so far.

btw: Both the Megan Fox and Dane Cook castings are plain old rumors.

Megan Fox NOT playing Catwoman in Batman 3

The Sun, a completely untrustworthy tabloid, announced that Megan Fox had signed on to play Catwoman in the next Batman film. This rumor is completely false. In fact one of the staff writers at Aint It Cool news wrote to Fox’s publicist who completely denied any talk of her being in the next movie.

Since we know it isn’t happening; I guess the question is, should it?

I like Megan Fox, she is one of the hottest young actresses around. Yet I don’t know if she, nor anyone, should play the role. It just kind of seems like a corny character. They would have to write Catwoman in a way that kept the dark feeling of the first two movies in tact.

However I must admit, the thought of Megan Fox being in a tight Catwoman suit does get me excited. Maybe she could put one on just for fun and get some pictures taken. Maybe even leak some pictures just to keep the rumors going.

I think these rumors keep coming up because everyone is so desperate for a new Batman film. Any news, even rumors, makes it feel like it’s closer and closer to fruition. Everyone just needs to settle down and wait for real news. Enjoy the great movies coming out this year, like District 9. The next Batman movie will be here soon enough (I’m guessing 2011).
