Raptors Have Must Win Vs Clippers Tonight

Toronto 1.5 Games Ahead Of Bulls

The Toronto Raptors needed an easy stretch of games about as bad as any team in NBA history. Good thing for them they play the Los Angeles Clippers tonight and then play the Philadelphia 76ers and the Golden State Warriors in their next two games.

For Chris Bosh, Andrea Bargnani and the rest of the crew; this couldn’t come at a better time. The Raptors have fallen from the sixth seed to threatening to fall out of the playoffs completely in a matter just a couple of weeks. They need the momentum that would come with a possible four game win streak (they won their last game against the Bobcats).

Clippers, Kaman Faltering Down The Stretch

The Los Angeles Clippers came into this NBA season with hope. They had the number one pick (Blake Griffin) and a star point guard (Baron Davis). They also had a solid front court in Chris Kaman and Marcus Camby.

However Griffin got injured in the preseason and the team just never got on track. Kaman did become an All Star (after a string of injuries to other All Stars got him in), but he has had trouble maintaining his level of play over the last couple of months.

The good thing is that the Clippers will have a good shot at having a top three pick in the NBA draft. That combined with Griffin should give fans something to look forward to in the future.
