Chris Kaman Has Strong Game In Win
Chris Kaman came up big to help the streaking Clippers beat the Detroit Pistons. Kaman had 21 points and 15 rebounds. It is the fourth straight double digit rebound game for the All-Star center, all since the trade of Marcus Camby to the Trailblazers.
Part of the surge by the Clippers could be the solid play of backup point guard Steve Blake who has averaged over 8 assists per game since coming over from Portland. The combination of Blake and Baron Davis gives the Clippers a solid floor general throughout the entire game.
Look for Kaman to continue to rebound at a torrid pace the rest of the season. The addition of Blake Griffin next season should give the team one of the best one-two punches on the front line in the NBA.
