NBA Player Profile: Joakim Noah

Joakim Noah is an intense rebounder and defensive player. The son of a French soccer player and Miss Sweden, he is a carefree individual who likes to enjoy himself on the court. He has shown some signs of immaturity, even getting a player voted suspension at one point, but he loves the game and loves to win.

Strengths: Rebounding and defense. He is a high energy guy and can have a positive impact on teammates when he plays right.

Weaknesses: Not much of an offensive player and has no outside shot. As said before, he can be immature sometimes.

Our Opinions

James: He made Florida a national championship team. He impressed me by staying an extra year in college instead of chasing the money (then again he was already well off before the NBA). His appearance says everything about him, he just wants to have fun and doesn’t care what anyone thinks about him.

George: Like James said, he doesn’t care what anyone thinks about him. That’s the problem. He will never be one to truly listen to his coaches enough to get him to the next level. Plus he looks like a bum, someone needs to explain to him that he is a business man and he needs to look the part.
